Membership
The DCA accepts membership applications at any time during the year. There are two types of memberships:
- Full Membership
- Associate Membership
The only difference is that those candidates holding active adjuster licenses or are members of the Delaware Bar are eligible for Full Membership, and all other candidates are eligible for Associate Membership. Dues and membership requirements are identical within the two member classifications.
Membership Process:
- Fill out the application information as detailed in the Membership Application. This information will be automatically forwarded to the current DCA Vice President (Andrew Lukashunas) once completed.
- Bring a check for annual dues to the next monthly meeting.
- The V.P. will present your name to the membership at the meeting under a motion to accept for a 1st reading. The motion to accept must be approved by the attending membership.
- The V.P. will present your name to the membership at the following meeting under a motion to accept for 2nd reading. The motion to accept must be approved by the attending membership.
- Once the 2nd reading has been approved by the DCA membership, and the annual dues are paid in full, membership requirements are satisfied.
The only requirement from this point forward is to pay the annual dues.
